a) Thames Valley Police Alerts – notification of incidents in and around Cassington –

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, three arrests have been made in connection with thefts of tractors in Cassington, Oxfordshire.
Three men have all been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and have been released under investigation.
They are a 44-year-old man from London, a 39-year-old from Bulgaria, and a 62-year-old from Poland.
The arrests are in connection with an incident on Sunday 17 May 2020, when six tractors were stolen from the Cassington area in Oxfordshire.
Three of the tractors have been recovered. 

b) Report from the Clerk on actions from the last meeting:

i) Neighbourhood Plan – Tracey is on a Neighbourhood Planning Course 1st,3rd & 5th June remotely

ii) Specification for the land by Church Lane – specification sent to councillors

iii) Traffic Calming – on hold

iv) Purchase of Rowan Tree for Little Green – information sent to councillors

v) Research for new Play Equipment – awaiting contact from suppliers

We received an email from a resident who live at the end of Elms Road.  They have advised that there is a tree on a piece of land at the back on their garden and it is pushing the back of their fence.  They have contacted WODC through fix my street and have been advised by them that they think that it is on land owned by the Parish Council and that the resident needs to contact the Parish Council – email has been sent to Councillors
