Cllr Dan Levy WODC District & Oxfordshire County Council Councillor

WODC District & Oxfordshire County Councillor

Dan has lived in Eynsham for nearly 20 years. His two children were brought up here and went to
Bartholomew School.

Dan has been a district councillor since 2019 and was elected in 2021 to be
your county councillor.

His employment has been in IT and telecoms financing, working with a
number of banks, leasing companies and telcos, and most recently he was BT’s head of financing for
international businesses.

He became a councillor because Cassington and Eynsham are fantastic villages, but are being
threatened by the scale of building along the A40 corridor.

There are lots of challenges to ensure that the villages remain great places to live as well as being welcoming to the new residents.

Dan runs, walks and cycles, both for leisure and to get places. He has been involved in cycle
campaigning as part of Cyclox, as part of the local group concerned with the A40 and as WODC’s
cycling champion.

In his spare time he has the burden of being a Stockport County supporter, and in happier seasons past led the fans’ acquisition of the club and subsequently was a director of the club.
