Carl lives in the village of Eynsham. He was elected district councillor in May 2018 and is a member of Eynsham Parish Council.
He lived and worked abroad for several years when younger. He has worked for more than 20 years in IT, currently in the field of publishing for scientific and medical research.
Carl has a long-standing interest in environmental issues and is a member of local wildlife groups.
At WODC, he joined the Council’s Single Use Plastics working group to tackle the problem of unnecessary plastics, and is now in the Climate Action Working Group to scrutinise the district council’s environmental and ecological policies.
He is married and has one son who goes to Eynsham Primary School.
