  1. Report from Clerk
  • Yew Tree in the Closed Burial Ground – This is booked for 5th July
  • Grass Cutting Tender – This has now been given to Adrian Tyler Cassington Garden Services
  • Speed Watch Signs – These have now been ordered
  • Traffic Sign at the entrance to Bell Lane – The Clerk has contacted Highways and they have advised that they have not given permission for this to erected and that it should be taken down.
  • Trees along the Concourse – The clerk will contact JAG trees to accept the quote.

County Councillor – Cllr Levy

The A40 decision is getting closer.  Cabinet have approved the budget.

District Councillors – Cllr Levy was re-elected. West Eynsham plan is going to scrutiny on Wednesday with regards to the traffic movement.  Area action is subject to a judicial review due to people asking for the inspectorate review due to the removal of zero carbon for new builds.

Parish Councillors – Dog walking facility has now opened in Yarnton. Cllr Rogers has discovered that the field that it is on was part of farmland but the land for the solar farm has taken most of it, so the farmer does not have enough land to farm on

  1. Ditches, Drainage and Flooding

The clerk has emailed Merilyn with regards to clearing the ditches.

  • Speed Watch – There is a 3-month grace period when the speed changed from 30mph to 20mph this has now ceased. The number of people doing over 30 has decreased but there are still people doing way over 20mph.

The clerk to contact Eynsham Clerk to get the name of the company to supply speed cameras

After discussion the parish Council made the decision to tape off the climbing unit has it has been deemed unsafe for use.
